  1. Bwahahahaha. Well, I was about to say that I knew it was Friday the 13th when I went out to my car this morning and found a parking ticket festooning my windshield, but then I remembered that I had not renewed my residential parking permit, and whose fault was that! Not Friday the 13th’s…

    Missing you!!

  2. How do I or others contribute to the good works you are doing in Tso Pema?

  3. I was trying not to acknowledge the date, frankly, and was thinking it was a pretty good day since I got an email from my friend Nyondo!

  5. Info for Joan:
By far the easiest way to contribute is via PayPal. You can find a Donate button for the Emergency Medical Fund on the home page of Joy’s blog (link in right sidebar). We haven’t posted much about what the fund is doing lately, but it’s continuing to do good things. Joy’s done a wonderful couple of posts about what we’ve been able to do. One lady is recuperating well after surgery. The old nun with asthma is breathing much better, and back to doing her kora around the lake. The stories go on…

  6. Dear Precious Rimpoche, Lama Lena, Joy and Nyondo,
I have been in isolation for a week ( O immune system from Chemo treatment) really a good retreat.. and I went on line to see how long it would be to see Rimpoche when you return to the Bay area and I laughed and cryed at all the beautiful photos of all of you and THE STATUE of Guru Rinpoche, OH it is so amazing!! and indescribable, remembering when Cindy-la and I were there visiting Tso Pema, the blogs and photos picked me right up to Bliss land, Thank you so much. How do I register for Napa, I remember in the past it was quite small, and I did not get in, I am hoping to spend as much time with Rimpoche as possible while he is the Bay Area. Also I would love to assist the teaching in Santa Rosa in any way I can if that person would like some help. We lost our son-in-law, my daughter Kirstens husband of 17 years to a hit and run accident 4 weeks ago and have been doing 49 day Powa with my housemate from Bhutan, Lopon Rigzin from Shencen Monastary in Nepal. A rainbow appeared in the sky at the time of his
cremation, there have been many blessing and miracles. The 49th day will be May 1st. Sending love and Blessings
