How are the monsoons?

The monsoons are damp. Just as we thought the weather might be clearing up a bit, along comes a rain storm that has lasted for 20 straight hours and washed out local roads.
To tell the truth, I don’t know why my connection is working now, any more than I know why it wasn’t working. It’s all kinda in the lap of the gods.
